Today eyeLABS Optometry and Dry Eye Clinic turns the ripe old age of 2! In this short time our clinic has helped hundreds of dry eye patients and a few thousand general eye patients to achieve better ocular health, learn preventative measures for ocular longevity and to smile and help others whenever possible. We've embraced our community and have been embraced right back and as the clinical director I'm proud of this milestone.
This is only the beginning. We are continuing to develop ground-breaking treatments, to educate and to improve the lives of all patients either directly or through our community outreach. This weekend I'm presenting 2 lectures at the University of Waterloo and it is timed so well. The cumulative work that I've been doing with patients will be presented to help other eye care practitioners to help their patients. It is indeed a beautiful cycle. My patients have allowed others to learn from their experiences and responses to treatment and for that I'm eternally grateful; so too will patients who receive better care because of the education this weekend.
